I Don’t Need to go to Nashville Chorus I don’t need to go to Nashville To play my songs Just give me a campfire, a couple of beers And friends that like to sing along And when the night is over I’ll put this old guitar away And stare up in the heavens And welcome the new day Verse 1 I tried to be a cowgirl I’m too wicked for a saint Guess I’ll never be Loretta Can’t be something that I ain’t So if you listen closely, After a glass or two of wine, My songs will change direction The compass points to Old John Prine Chorus Verse 2 If you want to go be famous Visit Nashville by all means Head down to the corporations Say you’ve joined the music scene But I’d rather be out West Underneath a moonlit sky With a sixpack and some matches, And a good friend by my side (Musical Interlude) Chorus

Mama Still Got It Verse 1 Let me tell you a story about when we were young No phones, no text, no streamin’ We spent our daytime hours at school And we spent those long nights dreaming About going to the Top-Flight Hit Parade and Dancing to the records that the DJ would play I had some Levi’s jeans and slicked back hair When I spotted a lady in hot pants With her long blond hair and high heels on, I knew I had to take a chance We jumped out on the floor and she shaked that thing Man, you shoulda seen her West Coast Swing! Chorus Mama still got it Mama still got it Mama still got it Mama still got it Mama, still, got it goin’ on! Verse 2 Her hands go up, her shoes go flyin’ When the band plays that boogie-woogie sound She don’t give a damn about the young folks now When we dance they all gather ‘round And when they drop that bass, out on the floor You can hear her screamin’ “More, More, More”! (Musical Interlude) Verse3 Now just last week in a local joint We were old folks in a young crowd, Mama went up to an old-time jukebox And turned that thing up loud When she jumped out on the floor and commenced to swingin’ All the kids in that bar started singin’ Chorus (Musical Interlude) Chorus (lots of times)
3.
One Horse Town Verse 1 I’m tired of livin’ life in this hole For 57 years I did what I was told, The American Dream stole my soul And Money didn’t buy me love. Chorus I’m livin’ in a one horse town I’m livin’ in a one horse town I’m livin’ in a one horse town I think I’m gonna take a ride Verse 2 Gonna cash my paycheck, buy an Oldsmobile Watch me burning rubber all the way up the hill Thinking of how she makes me feel The prettiest girl in town Chorus Verse 3 Pretty baby come away with me Just let me saddle up this pony She’s a Rocket ’88 with a full bench seat So you can sit right next to me Bridge Sometimes you gotta take your chances Cut the traces that keep you down Walk away from all the song-and-dances And raise a cloud of dust leaving this God damned town (Musical Interlude) Verse 4 Slide on over we’ll drive into the sunset You’re looking just as pretty as the evening when we first met We may be getting old, but baby we ain’t dead yet California here we come! (Woooooo!) (Musical Interlude) Chorus We’re leavin’ this one horse town We’re leavin’ this one horse town They saddle you up and then break you down C’mon lets take a ride Outro We’re leavin’ this one horse town We’re leavin’ this one horse town We’re leavin’ this one horse town C’mon lets take a ride

Alone Don’t Mean Lonely Verse 1 The sun is rising over the mountain, The stars are sinking, into the sea And I cast my memories, across the water Wondering, if you’re looking back at me Chorus Bein’ alone don’t mean bein’ lonely, And our friends still call me on the phone. But when I wake up, and reach across your pillow, Baby, I’m lonely and alone. (Musical Interlude) Verse2 Some say still waters run the deepest I keep my head up, as best as I can But you can drown in pools as well as rapids When you’re thrown, in the deep end Chorus (Musical Interlude) Chorus
5.
And Then She Kissed Me (Not The Crystals) Verse 1 (Him) Small town two-step Saturday night Dancing to the record machine Smiling at the ladies walking into the room Sandy, Becky, Dawn and Nadine Then I looked across the bar, she stood out from the rest With a plaid flannel shirt tied up on her chest I got my courage up to take a little chance When she grabbed me by the collar and said, “C’mon boy lets dance” Chorus And then she kissed me, with a wink in her eye And then it hit me, like a bolt from the sky Nothing ever made me feel so right Like dancin’ with my baby on a Saturday night And then she kissed me, a little harder this time And then it hit me, like it was some kind of sign Great Gosh Almighty, Lordy Above, No doubt about it, I was really in love. Verse 2 (Her) Small town two-step Saturday Night Wanna hear my favorite song Lookin at the boys there at the bar Jesse, Keith, George and John When I looked across my drink he stood out from them all Boots, button-down, and six-foot tall He walked my way and gave me a glance So I grabbed him by the collar and said “C’mon boy lets dance!” Chorus Verse 2 (Him) She wouldn’t let me go, wouldn’t let me lead She wasn’t built for comfort, she was built for speed, Drinkin, Tennessee whiskey like she knew the end was comin’ My heart was beating so I couldn’t hear the drummer drummin Kicking up sawdust we tore up that dance hall, When she took my hand and spun me up against the back wall, I gotta tell you brother, it scared me half to death But that was next to nothing compared to what she did next... Chorus
6.
The Cave 04:22
The Cave Verse 1 I woke up from a dream And saw that things weren’t what they seemed I looked around for illumination But the fire burned so bright Blinded my second sight, And the people called out in wonder Chorus And the people cried out. They began to scream and shout, The people said, “Whoah, Ooooh, Ooooh!” And the people went crazy, Lifting their voices up in praise, And the people sang, Whoah, Ooooh, Ooooh!” Verse 2 So I stepped out of the fire, and as the flames grew higher I witnessed the cause of the consternation. It was the flames that caused the shades, Twisting every move the people made Into a grotesque, distorted, play of shadows. Chorus (Musical Interlude) Verse3 And the shadows on the wall Made not a sound at all, But the people cried out for wisdom, With prayers of supplication, Searching for salvation, But the shadows mocked every word they said. Chorus Verse 4 They danced there in the cave, Asking the Gods to show the way, But for the fire, they couldn’t see The Light. So I turned my back to the Gods The people prayed to on the walls, And simply walked out toward the sunshine (Musical Interlude) Chorus Outro Where you gonna run to? Where you gonna hide? When the people find out that you lied. Where you gonna run to? Where you gonna hide? When the people find out that you lied. (Keep it going!).
